Harlequin Mills & Boon Medical Romance Novels

Hello Again!!!!

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Wendy S. Marcus and I currently have six books out with Harlequin Mills and Boon’s Medical Romance line. The last one released as part of the very popular NYC Angels series back in 2013. Wow! I can’t believe it’s been three years!

Since then, I’ve written books for Harlequin’s Cosmopolitan Red Hot Reads line, Random House’s Loveswept line, and Carly Phillips’ Dare to Love Kindle World. I’ve also self-published a great beach read, Summer Temptation, as part of the Hot in the Hamptons Series.

And although you didn’t know it, during my time ‘away,’ I also wrote two more Harlequin Mills and Boon Medical Romances. I’m extremely proud of both stories, and I can’t wait for you to read them – which you can do in a few short days, because they release on August 1st!!!

Book #1 of the duet is The Doctor She Always Dreamed Of

This is my crossdressing doctor story! Here’s the official blurb: (For some reason it doesn’t mention the crossdressing doctor bit. Hmmm. I wonder why? *wink*)

Dare she dream of forever?

Nurse Kira Peniglatt isn’t in the market for a happy-ever-after. Between her busy job and caring for her sick mother, she’s learned the hard way that she comes with too much baggage for most men to handle.

Except Dr. Derrick Limone isn’t most men–he’s caring, funny, outrageously sexy…and he understands that she comes as a package deal. One sizzling kiss from Derrick later, and suddenly Kira hopes… Has she finally found the man she’s always dreamed of?

Book #2 in the duet is The Nurse’s Newborn Gift

This official blurb sums up the book perfectly! I cried when I wrote the epilogue.

Brought together by a baby…

Nurse Krissy Peniglatt promised her best friend she’d have his baby through IVF if he didn’t make it home from the front lines. When the time comes to make good on her promise she’s confident she can handle being a single mom. If only Spencer Penn, the baby’s godfather, will agree!

There’s always been tension between them, and yet the warmhearted woman Krissy has become takes Spencer’s breath away. But can he convince Krissy he wants to be a real daddy for her newborn baby?

  1. Hello Wendy,
I read your books of Medical Romance line, and liked.
I come from Italy, then to read your books usually I have to wait to publish them translated into Italian, and hopefully soon also translate these.
I read romances doctors for almost 30 years.
If the question: “what book you prefer” is addressed to these two, I reply that I have no preference, I love both stories.

    1. Hi Helen!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed The Doctor She Always Dreamed Of. Writing that first cross-dressing scene was so much fun! I’ve been told to warn readers that The Nurse’s Newborn Gift is a tearjerker. You’ve been warned!! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I’m from Massachusetts and I’ve been reading medical romances for a while now. I’d love to read The Nurse’s Newborn Gift! Sounds like a great book! Thanks!

  4. Hi, Wendy!
I live in Canada (where it is difficult to find medicals) and have been reading romances since 1973 (Grade 9). I guess you could say some were medical romances, as way back then the heroines were often nurses (and sometimes caregivers, nannies, volunteers, etc.), and many of the heroes were specialists (with big wallets). My, times have changed!
I like both blurbs too, but I could start with The Doctor She Always Dreamed Of, as it reminds me of many people’s situations – including my own – these days (the sandwich generation).
Have a great weekend! (It’s a long weekend here, so I can’t complain, LOL!)

  5. Hi Wendy! 🙂

I’m from Maryland, have been reading from the Medical Line for ages … probably since it started, but can’t remember how long that’s been now … and they both sound great, but I’d have to pick THE NURSE’S NEWBORN GIFT because the babies are always my fav!

    Hugs,
    Lynn
