Autumn Affairs from Medical Romance – by Charlotte Ellis

It’s been a busy but wonderful summer here at True Love Towers, full of romantic Medical Romance escapes to exotic locations! Idyllic Italian cities, Greek Island paradises, the Croatian coastline, Hawaiian hotspots… You name it, our heroes and heroines have probably been there. Us editors have even managed to visit some of them, and more, outside of the pages of our fabulous summer reads!

But now it’s back to work, back to school and Medical Romance of a different sort beckons. And as the summer sun starts to fade, there’s something so comforting about the descent into Autumn. The lure of a relaxing evening spent snuggled on the sofa with a cup of tea and a good book as the leaves outside turn to gold…

So, what can you expect from Medical Romance this October…?

  1. Glamorous locations with an autumnal twist! The arrival of the cooler (and rainier!) weather that the UK’s famous for, may be just around the corner, but there are plenty of other chillier climes that are imbued with an abundance of beauty and splendour, all over the globe. And you need look no further than Amy Ruttan’s Icelandic interlude, NY Doc Under the Northern Lights. Who can say no to a Nordic hero who’s willing to sweep you off your feet?!
  2. A fling to keep you warm… Why settle for a night curled up by the fire by yourself, when you could share body heat with the man of your dreams? For now….and for ever! See how it works out for the heroine in Tempted by Mr. Off-Limits by Amy Andrews, part of a wonderful linked duet NURSES IN THE CITY, set in Sydney.
  3. Reunited…in the build up to Christmas. With less than one hundred days left until the big day itself, what could be more magical than rekindling a past connection… And Medical Romance has plenty of reunion stories for you this October. So, discover the joy of finding love and family in Reunited with Her Brooding Surgeon by Emily Forbes, Heart Surgeon to Single Dad by Janice Lynn and Second Chance with Her Army Doc by Dianne Drake.

And we’d love to hear from you! As summer draws to a close, what are you most looking forward to about autumn?
