Happy Thanksgiving!

by Susan Carlisle

table

Today is Thanksgiving in America. In the spirit of that, I’d like to share a few things I’m thankful for.

  1. My family
  2. My health
  3. My writing family
  4. The ability to travel
  5. My friends
  6. For America
  7. My faith
  8. My memories
  9. Auburn University

Sheila Thanksgiving Annie O’Neil, an American living in England, keeps the spirit alive in her home.

  1. Fab pics, Susan!
We dont do Thanksgiving DownUnder but I am thankful that my daughter, who has been living in Ireland for almost 2 years will be home in 2 weeks! And my son will be home for Xmas too!

    1. Amy, that is wonderful. That’s what I loved most about Thanksgiving having all my family under one roof for awhile.

  2. Hi Susan

Love those photos and I think this is a fabulous holiday and as Amy said we don’t do it down here but there re so many things I am thankful for ,my family and the awesome books I have got to read and feeling safe and loved

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate

    Have Fun

  3. Today I am thankful for:
    1) my family, friends and loved ones.
    2) the doctors and scientists who advanced medicine so that I have 2 amazing grandsons and invented the procedure/device that will hopefully control my husbands illness
    3) All those people who have to work in law enforcement/fire departments/hospitals and the military, missing their holiday so they can keep us safe.
    4) All the authors who keep my Kindle filled and me entertained with Netflix adaptations, especially these past 8 weeks that my husband has been in the hospital.
(Ps my niece graduated from Auburn 5 years ago, and my nephew is a senior there now. Their sister graduated from Alabama)

  4. Happy Thanksgiving! Every year I look at my American friends’ pictures of Thanksgiving tables and provender and wish that we celebrated the holiday too. I’m thankful for so many good things that I have – at the moment a warm home in the first chills of winter is high on my list 🙂 x
