A few years ago, right before our country got hit with covid, me and my best friend were scheduled to go to Nashville for the Booklovers Conference. Of course, like most things, the conference had to be canceled. Both me and my bestie, Theresa, had been nurses for almost three decades and we knew what was coming. We’d be lucky if we got any time off for the next few months, so we made the decision to go anyway. It wasn’t the trip we’d planned, but it was a relaxing week spent resting (another words reading) and I’m so glad we had that opportunity.
I’m especially glad because it was then that the idea to have a series written around three midwives at the distinguished Legacy Women’s Clinic came to me and I’m happy to say that the first book in the series, Unbuttoning the Bachelor Doc, comes out next month.
Midwife Skylar Benton loves her job at Legacy Women’s Clinic, but being forced to work with Dr. Jared Warner while they take care of one of country music’s newest stars might be more of a challenge than she can handle.
